Alicia Barber

About

Alicia Barber was raised in Las Vegas and graduated from Stanford University as a Rebele Journalism Scholar. After becoming a freelance editor and working for TV industry publications, interviewing executives like Bill Lawrence (Scrubs) and Zooey Deschanel (New Girl), Alicia realised she wanted to be on the other side of the microphone. A lifelong musician, Alicia wrote and produced a self-titled LP, and began working as a writer and session singer for other LA-based artists. After a tour in London, she embarked on a screenwriting path where she received a masters from London Film School. She writes flawed female characters with heaps of compassion and humour, and is working on a series about an American upstart in London.
