Marianne Hansen

About

Writer-Director Marianne Hansen was born in Hong Kong, raised in Denmark and educated in London and Los Angeles. Her first foray into film was in acting, but somewhere along the road she discovered that she would rather be behind the camera. She graduated film school in Los Angeles in 2006 and decided to make a feature film. Lapse was shot in 2007 for whatever resources she could pool together and is now in its final stages of post-production. Armed with her new MA in screenwriting, Marianne is currently working on a variety of new projects, looking for producers to collaborate with. She loves writing scripts both for herself as a filmmaker and other people as a writer-for-hire.
