Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK.
These highly competitive awards are given to students demonstrating superior professional filmmaking production skills and creativity along with academic success. Participating worldwide colleges and universities that offer a degree or diploma programme in film, film production, or cinematography may nominate up to two students each year for consideration.
The Awards are open to up and coming talent focused on continuing to work in the UK film, commercial television and cinema industries. It is a scheme that looks to reward people who have shown determination and motivation in targeting their chosen career but who may have suffered set backs due to unforeseen circumstances such as health or finance. Applicants should have worked in the industries for a minimum of two years.
Provides awards of between £500 – £2,500 to Canadian men and women who have already commenced their studies in the UK.
The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant : 50% loan basis through a competitive application process once a year in June or July.

The Partnership between the London Film School (LFS) and the SAID Foundation is aimed at students originating from and residing in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan or Palestine. Successful applicants can study at LFS on a full scholarship, including living costs.
