Students whose first language is not English will need to provide proof of proficiency in English.
The London Film School accepts a number of language tests from applicants from the EU/EEA. The preferred language test is IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 and a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
We may be able to accept other language tests where applicants have achieved at least CEFR level B2 in all four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening; unless exempted from sitting a component by a test provider on the basis of your disability). We recommend that you check with the LFS Admissions Manager ( ) before booking a test other than IELTS.
Applicants who have recently successfully completed an undergraduate degree (or above) in a majority-English speaking country may not be required to provide proof of proficiency in English and should contact us at email@example.com.
