LFS 50TH ANNIVERSARY AWARD TRAILER HAS BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR AN AWARD

AZHUR SALEEM (c. 153) who wrote and directed the LFS 50TH Anniversary Trailer has had it selected for the shortlist in the European Film School category in the Young Director Award 2007 at Cannes Advertising Awards 2007. We wish him luck!

"TRUE COLOURS" BY BARNEY ELLIOTT HAS WON THREE AWARDS



Barney Elliott (C. 143) independent short film "TRUE COLOURS", which has been screened at many festivals has won 3 awards - see below

Festival du Court Metrage de Bruxelles (Brussels short film festival):
1) Young Jury Prize
2) Best Actor (Neil Maskell)

Also the film was nominated for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY at the Aarhus International Film & Video Festival in Denmark (AFIA)

And at Premiers Plans Film Festival, France - Jan. 2007
1) Special Jury Price
2) Special Male Actor in a Short (Neil Maskell)
