GIGI ROCCATI WINS UNIVERSAL STUDIO CINEMASTER 2005
Gigi Roccati C. 146 graduation film "CHLOE TRAVELS TIME" won the UNIVERSAL STUDIO CINEMASTER 2005 which gave Gigi a three week internship at Universal and Focus Film in May in LA where he had a chance ot meet top executives and directors. Chloe has been bought by the Sky Channel Universal Studio and has been broadcast.
"CHLOE TRAVELS TIME" was selected by Cinecitta Holding for "Italian Style Cinema", a review of the best Italian movies in Los Angeles at The Egyptian Theatre (1935) on Sunday, 9th October at their Short Film Day (for more information go to www.americancinematheque.com). Gigi says "Chloe" was screened to a packed audience and it was GREAT!"

"END OF SEASON" WON BEST ACTRESS AT FANO FILM FESTIVAL

Duccio Chiarini C. 148 has just been informed by the Head of the Jury of the Fano Film Festival, Italy that his graduation film, which he wrote and directed, "END OF SEASON" has won Best Actress at the festival, which runs next week, 24-29th October 2005.

MIKE LEIGH, OUR CHAIRMAN, WINS JOSEPH PLATEAU AWARD

Mike Leigh, our illustrious Chairman, has won the Joseph Plateau Award for Outstanding Achievement in Film-making at the Flanders International Film Festival.
Mike received his award at the Belgium-based festival beginning of October from Imelda Staunton, Oscar-nominated star of his 2004 drama "VERA DRAKE".

CARLOS ARMELLA & PEDRO GONZALEZ-RUBIO WIN AWARD AT SAN SEBASTIAN FILM FESTIVAL
Carlos Armella C. 141 and Pedro Gonzales-Rubio C. 141 have won the Horizontes Award at the 53rd San Sebastian Film Festival this year with their first feature length documentary "TORO NEGRO" (BLACK BULL) directed by them both.
It has also been screened at this year's Toronto International Film Festival receiving great reviews.

MAX JACOBY WINS UIP PRIZE AT VENICE FILM FESTIVAL 2005

Congratulations go to Max Jacoby C.137 won UIP Prize for Best European Short Film with his film "BUTTERFLIES" at the Venice Film Festival 2005 - 62nd Mostra Awards.
