"Marketing and distributing our work is now part of the game and Jon Reiss is on the cutting edge of it all. He will change how you think about making and promoting your films and guide you into the future with your eyes open." Buzz McLaughlin, Exec. Producer, Either/Or

Introduction

Following our recent digital distribution event with producer Thomas Mai, we continue to explore this area by welcoming to LFS Jonathan Reiss, filmmaker and author of ‘Think Outside the Box Office: The Ultimate Guide to Film Distribution in the Digital Era’.

Since its publication in 2010 ‘Think Outside the Box Office’ has earned an international reputation as a break-through, step-by-step guide to distribution and marketing in today's increasingly digitized world. Through its pages, more and more filmmakers are discovering how to create distribution and marketing strategies that are unique to their films. They’re getting an explanation of the various markets available, learning how and why to engage their audiences as early as possible. They’re finding out how to think beyond the feature film to create new forms of content to market and distribute their films.

The London Film School is pleased offer this intensive 2-day workshop based on Jon's writings and experiences. Each participant will receive a copy of the book, an opportunity to pitch their own project, plus an invitation to networking drinks at LFS. Read on for more details.
