'AGAINST THE LAW' NOMINATED BY BAFTA TV AWARDS

Congratulations are in order once again; Matthew Button, LFS' Head of Production Design, had an exciting award show season last year, with several nominations for his work on the critically and commercially successful animated feature film 'Loving Vincent'. Yet again, Matthew's work takes centre stage in another well-received project.

'Against The Law', a BBC produced historical drama, has been nominated in the 'Best Single Drama' category by the BAFTA TV Awards. Button, who was a production designer on the project, had to recreate1955 England and Wales, for the drama about Peter Wildeblood, an openly gay man living in an era where being gay was illegal. The story follows Wildeblood's personal life and conviction previous to the Wolfenden report.

'Against The Law' was previously shortlisted by the Broadcast Awards in the same category. Congratulations to the entire team behind the film.
